Google Plus Reviews: Today’s Thank You Card

Our team truly loves making our customers happy.  We often receive thank you cards, emails, phone calls and online reviews that address the positive experience our customers have had working with us.  As the owner of Frozen Fire, I want to personally thank all of you that take the time to let us know about your experience.  Your words of appreciation fuel my team and therefore results in a higher quality product for all of our customers. The purpose of me writing this article is twofold.  One, I am truly grateful for these kind words and I have not had a chance to tell each of you that, so thank you!  Secondly, I have a constant drive to educate and advise my customers about how to successfully grow their business and today I would like to talk about the importance of Google plus reviews.

Today, consumers are self-educators.  They are checking you out on line and since this is true, it is imperative that your online presence reflects the greatness of the personal experience someone has with your business.  Forever, businesses have used testimonials as a way to let other potential customers know about their product or service.  This has come in many forms including word of mouth, hand written notes and more recently video testimonials.

Most of the World is on Google Every Day

This is the number one place for people to go to get information including reading about customer testimonials. It is highly recommended that businesses make it easy for their customers to provide a review on Google Plus.   I don’t want to bore you at this time with all the benefits that come along with having reviews on Google Plus, but I will say there are many.  However, one huge benefit that I would like to mention that I personally see is these reviews are organic, they are far more believable than simply putting a few quotes on your website.  The quotes you put on your website are completely controlled by you and people know that and therefore those testimonials are not as meaningful as they are on a site where everyone is invited and allowed to share their experience.

Google Plus.  You might not even know exactly what Google Plus is and that’s ok.  We are here to help.  My first suggestion is to get familiar with it and make sure your business has a presence on it.

I would like to share this very basic but very powerful tool, commonly referred to as an infographicthat clearly states how to do a Google review.  I hope this educates you on the process and feel free to share with your customers so they know how to give you a review.  Reviews are powerful and help the potential customer know what to expect if they do business with you and greatly increases your chances of them becoming a new customer.
